Inside Sales Representative/ Backup Delivery Driver (Class A or B CDL with Hazmat)

Join us for the role at Airgas. This position involves assisting walk-in and telephone customers by identifying product needs, locating merchandise, restocking store items, and entering sales data. Additionally, you'll deliver cylinder gases and welding & safety products to customers as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Soliciting sales from walk-in or call-in customers.
• Processing payments and entering sales into the computer system.
• Assisting customers with loading merchandise and managing store displays.
• Delivering products to customers using a commercial vehicle.

Safety and Fleet Technology

Airgas emphasizes safety, following FMCSA regulations, and operates a modern fleet equipped with advanced technology such as On-Board Computers, collision avoidance, cameras, and GPS.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move up to 60 pounds and more with equipment.
• Effective navigation of sales platforms like SAP.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid NM CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements (hazmat can be obtained after offer).
• One year of professional driving experience within the last five years, with a clean record.
