Job summary

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, with a focus on roofing, siding and windows. The Inside Sales Associate role in Sterling, VA, features a 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew).

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Up-sell additional products and supplies per customer job checklist.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payment and apply it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinate customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.

Specific duties may include:

• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Pay Rate Information:
