Job summary

ABC Supply Co. in Duluth, MN is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to provide outstanding service to customers purchasing roofing, siding, windows and related products for remodeling projects.

Duties include determining customer needs, recommending products, processing sales orders, coordinating pickups with the warehouse, and following deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and complete orders; the role requires 1–2 years in roofing, siding or windows and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise
