The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating qualified pipeline and driving revenue by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospects through a mix of inbound follow-up and outbound prospecting efforts. This role plays a critical part in early-stage sales execution and demand generation, helping to accelerate customer engagement and support the achievement of individual, team, and organizational sales goals – all while ensuring a high standard of customer experience.

The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in this journey by proactively engaging existing customers and cultivating new prospects to drive subscription adoption, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and overall revenue expansion.
This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification through to deal closure—for assigned accounts. In partnership with marketing and field sales, the Inside Sales Representative helps generate demand, qualify leads, and drive engagement through outbound calling, email outreach, and digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively engage SYSPRO's customer base to migrate accounts to a subscription-based model, while identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for SYSPRO and ISV products and services.
· Generate new pipeline through outbound prospecting and demand generation efforts.
· Qualify and nurture leads, building relationships that lead to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and collaborate with Sales Executives when criteria are met.
· Manage the end-to-end sales cycle within assigned accounts— from prospecting through to closing.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in HubSpot.
· Collaborate with Marketing and Field Sales to align outreach strategies and share insights on customer trends and behavior.
· Deliver timely follow-up, excellent service, and ongoing communication to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and activity targets.
· Stay current on industry trends, competitor movements, and product innovations to position SYSPRO effectively in the market.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree - Field of study in Business, Marketing or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a technology sales, BDR or customer-facing role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with the ERP Software and its Value proposition
- Experience with manufacturing industry
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Effective presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator etc.
