Job summary

Triangle Fastener Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales Team at our San Antonio, TX location. You will be the first contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries, managing quotes, orders, and daily customer service that keeps projects on track.

You’ll support the Outside Sales team and help grow relationships with customers while working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience 1+ year in sales-based customer service or related position
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn and operate company software, including CSD
• Proven multitasking and time management abilities
• Strong sales acumen and customer-centric mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate quotes via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
• Guide customers through product selections and walk-in sales
• Enter and process orders with speed and accuracy
• Coordinate delivery schedules and provide updates to customers
• Support Outside Sales with backend processes and follow-ups
• Maintain a clean showroom and promote featured products
• Resolve customer issues proactively and professionally
• Review open sales reports and ensure data integrity
• Work closely with Branch Operations daily

You’ll serve as the first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email-based customer inquiries, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and successful sales experience. In this position, you’ll support both individual customers and the Outside Sales team—managing quotes, orders, and day-to-day customer service that keeps projects on track and clients coming back. While this is an Associate-level opportunity open to all backgrounds, it is the perfect experience for recent college graduates and sales professionals growing from entry-level sales.

Your Part

As an Inside Sales Representative, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing timely and accurate customer quotes via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
• Handling walk-in sales and guiding customers through product selections
• Entering and processing orders with precision and speed
• Collaborating with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock levels meet demand
• Coordinating delivery schedules and providing updates to customers
• Supporting the Outside Sales team by managing backend processes and customer follow-ups
• Maintaining a clean and professional showroom and promoting featured products
• Addressing and resolving customer issues proactively and professionally
• Preparing and sending product samples, catalogs, and credit applications
• Reviewing open sales reports and ensuring data integrity
• Pulling counter orders as needed to ensure timely customer service
• Working closely with the Branch Operations Manager and other sales staff daily

Ideal Background of Successful Candidates:

Required

• Experience 1+ year in sales-based customer service or related position
• Education High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

• Experience 3+ years in inside sales or similar position
• Education Associate’s degree in business, sales, or related field
