Role
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through phone, email, and virtual communications. They identify customer needs, present products or services, provide solutions, and guide prospects through the sales process. By maintaining accurate records, following up on leads, and collaborating with internal teams, Inside Sales Representatives help achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels. Proactively research prospective clients, develop new business opportunities, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to support organizational growth.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers by understanding their needs, providing timely support, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Product and Service Promotion: Present and explain company products and services to potential customers, highlighting key features, benefits, and value propositions. Conduct virtual demonstrations and consultations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage all stages of the sales cycle, from initial contact through closing. Track opportunities, follow up on leads, and prioritize activities to maximize conversion rates and achieve sales objectives.
- Sales Goal Achievement: Consistently work toward meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets. Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to increase revenue generation.
- CRM and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information within the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
- Quotation and Order Processing: Prepare pricing proposals, quotations, and sales agreements while coordinating with internal departments to ensure accurate order processing and timely product or service delivery.
- Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections professionally and efficiently. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and strengthen long-term business relationships.
- Market and Product Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product updates to effectively position offerings and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer service, operations, and other departments to support customer needs, improve sales processes, and contribute to overall business success.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant sales training, certifications, or professional development courses are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- One to three years of inside sales, customer service, account management, or related experience preferred.
- Experience conducting outbound prospecting and lead generation activities.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and performance metrics.
- Experience managing customer accounts and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Previous experience using CRM systems to track sales activities and customer interactions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Understanding of customer service standards and relationship management strategies.
- Familiarity with sales pipelines, lead qualification processes, and sales cycle management.

Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel
This role requires periodic travel, including time onboard company cruise ship vessels, to support marketing initiatives and gain operational insight.
Work Conditions
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. This position is classified as “in‑person,” meaning the physical office is in Orlando.
