Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Newark, DE is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the liaison between outside sales, internal teams, and customers. You will manage customer orders, communicate stock updates and substitutions, and help optimize delivery scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of customer service experience or equivalent.
• Experience with CRM and e‑commerce tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll serve as the liaison between outside sales, partners within the organization, and existing customers. You'll be responsible for managing customer orders, communicating with customers regarding out-of-stocks and substitution options, strengthening customer relationships, utilizing e-Commerce technologies, scheduling exception deliveries, determining credits for customers when appropriate, and more! You'll help them to achieve their goals and, in return, yours!
