Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Newark, DE. You will serve as a liaison between outside sales, partners, and existing customers, managing orders and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling out-of-stocks, substitutions, delivering exceptional service, and using e-commerce tools to support sales goals. A high school diploma and 2 years of customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of previous customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with order management and e‑commerce tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inside Sales Representative

Newark, DE

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll serve as the liaison between outside sales, partners within the organization, and existing customers. You'll be responsible for managing customer orders, communicating with customers regarding out-of-stocks and substitution options, strengthening customer relationships, utilizing e‑Commerce technologies, scheduling exception deliveries, determining credits for customers when appropriate, and more! You'll help them to achieve their goals and, in return, yours!
