Applied Technology Services (ATS) is an IT systems integrator and has been a trusted partner to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region for 20 years. We have core competencies in Enterprise Modernization, Infrastructure Services, End User Computing, Workforce Optimization, Cyber Security Solutions, and IT Staffing. ATS provides a wide array of professional and managed services from the data center to the desktop. ATS holds minority certifications in Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia and is a Third-Party Certified Women Owned Small Business (WOSB).

Applied Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative specializing in IT hardware, software sales and services. This role supports Account Executives.

  • Demonstrate, promote, and sell ATS’ products and services - Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to prospective customers.
  • Develop and foster relationships - Maintain close communications with prospects to close sales and promote customer retention.
  • Track progress and results - Record prospect interactions and track goal attainment in CRM system.
  • Research and understand target market - Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and ATS's overall market opportunity.
  • Responsible for configuring solutions, quoting, and up-selling as a reseller of servers, storage, desktop/laptop, security products and maintenance services.
  • Ensure the performance and growth of Named customer accounts.
  • Responsible for run-rate business for all established accounts.
  • Daily contact with customer base in assigned territory.
  • Daily update to sales on all promotional/ price/ product activity.
  • Feedback to sales reps on activity/opportunities.
  • Coordinate and develop relationship with key vendor relationships throughout
  • Maintain “clean” contact lists for all customer accounts.(CRM) companies, opportunities,

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years’ experience selling a product or service.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred.
  • Excellent ability to manage and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals.
  • Demonstrated skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating.
  • Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the Reseller Market.
  • Familiarity with client ordering requirements.
