Inside Sales Representative for Service Champ (Remote, CST or EST)

This role is remote, requiring residence in the central or eastern time zones, with minimal travel expected.

Summary

The Inside Sales Representative manages assigned accounts to grow existing business and develops new customer relationships through prospecting and lead engagement.

Essential Functions
  1. Contact customers to increase sales and satisfaction, providing product options and technical support via phone.
  2. Engage in consultative selling to help customers meet their needs while increasing sales and profitability.
  3. Educate and train customers, becoming a trusted resource.
  4. Utilize ERP/CRM systems to log all account activity and maintain accurate records.
  5. Identify customer satisfaction trends and potential new accounts, creating sales plans accordingly.
  6. Participate in sales planning, budgeting, and performance reviews.
  7. Ensure customers receive catalogs and training on their use.
  8. Support customer sales through service, education, and problem-solving.
  9. Provide market insights on pricing and product trends.
  10. Manage costs, including freight and other expenses.
  11. Handle customer requests and manage credit levels.
  12. Attend sales meetings and participate in special projects.
  13. Promote a positive team environment and uphold company values.
  14. Maintain high standards of productivity and customer service.
  15. Develop strong relationships with customers and handle issues effectively.
  16. Follow safety rules and company policies, demonstrating punctuality and professionalism.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Excellent sales communication skills, active listening, and negotiation abilities.
