We have an opportunity for you to join the team as an Inside Sales Representative! This position manages customer inquiries, processes orders, identifies upsell opportunities, and resolves issues promptly and professionally. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, collaborating with various internal teams, and fostering strong customer relationships while supporting the new business account setup process with the business development team. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, previous customer service or inside sales experience, and a passion for creating a great customer impression.

“A day in the life of an Inside Sales Representative looks like:”

  • Handle incoming inquiries from customers, including order placements, product inquiries, and general service-related questions.
  • Provide product recommendations, pricing information, and delivery details to customers, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Efficiently process and manage customer orders through our ordering system, verifying accuracy and confirming order details.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any potential issues or delays.
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue from existing customers.
  • Create and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and secure long-term customer loyalty.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism, finding solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments, following up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Generate sales reports and performance metrics as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with customers about order status, product updates, and promotions.

What does it take to be an Inside Sales Representative?

  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other business tools. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
