Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. You will quote valve and automation projects, support the outside sales team, and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, learning products continually, and collaborating with district sales to support quotations and drive growth. This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience required.
• Ability to upsell and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Strong digital literacy including Microsoft Office and product knowledge learning.
• High motivation with a customer service mindset and relationship skills.

Inside Sales Representative

Ferguson is searching for an associate ready to step into an Inside Sales Representative role and become an integral part of the sales team quoting valve and automation projects.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm + OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Support the outside sales team on day to day and EPC project quotations.
• You will have Internal and External customers that you need to maintain relationships with.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while providing technical support and guidance.
• Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.
• Be a team player and work with our district sales team to support quotations.
• Form solid relationships to establish trust with entire district to work seamlessly together.
• Willingness to learn and train continually with products.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is required
• Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Pay Range

$18.71 - $29.92

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
