Job summary

RelaDyne LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Houston to provide exceptional customer service and support our outside sales team. You will manage quotes, orders, and pricing, follow up on opportunities, and help grow existing and new accounts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, proactive, and comfortable with multitasking. This role collaborates with purchasing, warehouse, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while providing outstanding service
• Support outside sales associates with medium to large customer accounts
• Meet or exceed established sales and profit goals
• Prepare and process quotes, orders, credit requests, and other customer needs accurately and efficiently
• Provide customers with accurate pricing, inventory, product, and delivery information
• Follow up on open quotes, expiring bids, backorders, outstanding POs, and other sales opportunities
• Source and procure special, rush, and direct-shipment items in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business through outbound sales calls
• Promote new products, services, and special offerings
• Maintain customer and distributor pricing
• Partner with purchasing, warehouse, shipping, and suppliers to coordinate orders and deliveries
• Process credits for returned or defective materials
• Assist with job quotes, stock list quotations, submittals, customer presentations, and Equipment Loan Agreements
• Help maintain customer target lists and identify potential sales opportunities
• Communicate company policies and procedures to customers, including warranty and return policies
• Communicate effectively with sales associates and internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
• Assist other areas of the location, including the warehouse, as needed
