Job summary

TVH Group in Grayslake, IL or Olathe, KS is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to build and nurture customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and deliver consistent, value-added communication to support corporate accounts. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, leverage ERP/CRM to check pricing and availability, and collaborate with teams to meet sales objectives.

A minimum of 3 years in a customer service or inside sales role is required, with a strong grasp of material

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of work experience in a customer support or inside sales role.
• Understanding of material handling and industrial parts industry.
• Familiarity with inside sales techniques including cold calling and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain customers with inbound and outbound calls to existing and potential customers.
• Identify customer needs, present products and services to meet those needs.
• Build and foster relationships to support sales objectives.
• Navigate ERP/CRM to check price, availability, and enter feedback or actions.
• Notify customers of backordered items and provide delivery dates.

Inside Sales Representative Full-time | Sales | Location - Grayslake, IL or Olathe, KS

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships while proactively identifying and developing sales opportunities. You will deliver regular, consistent, and value-added communication to support and enhance partnerships with corporate accounts.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grow and maintain customers including taking inbound and making outbound calls to a variety of existing and potential customers, while meeting the minimum outbound calls required daily.
• Leverage knowledge of domestic sales processes and material handling and industrial parts to identify customer needs, present all appropriate products and services.
• Build and foster effective customer relationships and sales opportunities to support meeting required sales objectives.
• Navigate and research information within company ERP and CRM systems to check product price and availability, correspond and enter customer feedback and/or action items.
• Notify customer of all backordered items and provide delivery dates.
• Communicate with customers to gather claims information as needed and enter the information into company sales systems.

HOW TO SUCCEED

• Must possess a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a Customer Support or other applicable customer service/inside sales role.
• Demonstrate proficient understanding material handling and industrial parts industry, parts, customers, suppliers and vendors.
• Demonstrate proficient understanding and demonstrating inside sales techniques including cold calling, customer qualification and customer acquisition.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge and ability to handle credit card processing.
• Demonstrate proficiency using a company ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (customer relationship management) system.
