Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to build and expand relationships with internal and external clients, generating new orders and delivering tailored proposals. You will collaborate with BDMs, branches, and recruiters to drive growth and ensure superior customer service.

You will engage hiring managers to uncover leads, negotiate deals, and onboard new accounts while expanding into new geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• 1–3 years sales experience preferred but not required
• Strong self-motivation and fast-paced, high-performance mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic tech aptitude

General Purpose

The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding relationships with Elwood Professional's internal and external clients. This person will work with BDMs, branches, current, and past clients to generate new orders and bring in additional business. All employees consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.

Essential Functions

• Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships.
• Present customized solutions that demonstrate a clear understanding of the prospective client's business needs.
• Actively drive negotiations, close, and onboard new accounts.
• Expand relationships with company's current client base by selling additional service lines and expanding into new geographies.
• Work with internal and external clients to develop business.
• Actively engage hiring managers to uncover leads and open positions through thorough, consistent follow-up and outbound cold
  calls and emails.
• Actively pursue additional job orders for recruiters through past relationships guiding opportunities to the appropriate channels for
  further development and closure.
• Document sales activities through ATS.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
• Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
• 1-3 years sales experience preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial type who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Always maintain a Superior Customer Service mindset with both internal and external clients.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required for this role to visit customer sites as needed.
