Pioneer Industrial Corporation in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Inside Sales representative to support quotations, order processing, and customer communications.

You will collaborate with the Outside Sales team and valve, gasket, and pump shops to ensure accurate processing and timely delivery. The role requires 3+ years of industry experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong basic math skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders for products and services.
• Work closely with the Outside Sales team, valve, gasket, and pump shops to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
• Build effective relationships and trust with customers through active listening and understanding of their needs.
• Follow up and expedite customer orders as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with vendors on purchase orders, maintaining effective communication channels.
• Maintain both digital and physical files accurately to ensure easy retrieval of information.
• Provide backup support for other Inside Sales representatives during their absence.
• Complete required training to gain knowledge of the company's product lines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Be punctual with a strong attendance record.
