Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is hiring an Inside Sales Rep for our Trench Safety branch in Columbus. You will serve as a key customer contact, recommend solutions, quote and fulfill orders, and help build branch growth while focusing on underground trench safety equipment.

This role emphasizes relationship-building, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of trench safety products is preferred.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers; generate leads for new business.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading of equipment.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage delivery expectations.
• Maintain a showroom; stock merchandise.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
