Job summary

FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies company, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to build and expand relationships with customers and our outside sales team. You will process orders, answer inquiries, and provide technical and application information to meet customer needs while boosting satisfaction and sales results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3+ years' experience in Customer Service-related Industry preferred.
• Experience in Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service/Application Engineer role with an Industrial Distributor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell company products and services by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries, providing technical and application information.
• Maintains responsibility of orders from quotation to collection: select and specify products utilizing FCX and vendor supplied tools/software. Responds to customer inquiries.
• Processes and expedites orders, customer returns and returns to vendors in an accurate and timely manner.
• Negotiates pricing and delivery with vendors when necessary.
• Works closely with Outside Salesman in soliciting business and maintaining superior customer service levels.
• Maximizes gross margin by ensuring FCX gets paid for superior service and technical expertise.
• Reviews open customer order reports and acts on items at risk of delaying delivery date.
