Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies seeks an experienced inside sales support professional to quote and process orders, update ledgers, and assist the OTC and Outside Sales teams. You will work closely with sales colleagues to ensure accurate pricing and timely fulfillment.

The role requires 5+ years in sales support, strong customer communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A 2-year degree is preferred and the team operates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a sales support role.
• Strong ability to interface with customers at all levels.

• Ability to adapt quickly as the OTC Team runs lean.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring sales orders are correct and timely for fulfillment.
• Provide pricing, quantity and product info for quotes.
• Send order confirmations/pro-forma invoices for signature.
• Process sales returns and DOA as required.
• Submit credit increase requests to OTC for processing.
• Verify and manage customer ship-to addresses.
• Submit PO requests when required by customers.
• Communicate customer requirements for sales/order processing.
• Update the Sales Ledger promptly.
• Maintain price book and customer data in BC.
• Collaborate with OTC and TSC teams on past dues.
• Support sales teams with marketing materials and presentations.

Job description

Summary

The inside sales position will be responsible for quoting and processing sales orders. They will be responsible for updating the sales ledgers and assisting the Outside Sales Team to acquire the correct stamps/signatures to invoice sales orders. They will work closely with other members of the OTC Team and members of the Outside Sales Team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Sales orders: Assist in ensuring sales order is correct and timely for order fulfillment
• Sales quotes: Assist in providing correct pricing, quantity and product information for sales quotations
• Sends PFI (order confirmation/pro-forma invoice) for signature to customers
• Complete sales returns and follow DOA as required
• Submit credit increase requests (along with sales) to OTC for processing.
• Verify and manage customer ship-to addresses requests (TSC final actual change in NAV)
• Submit PO requests to customers when PO is required.
• Manage and communicate customer requirements for sales and order processing.
• Updates Sales Ledger in a timely manner
• Manage price book and customer relevant information for sales and inclusion into BC
• Work closely with other members of the OTC Team and TSC team to collect and update past dues and aging
• Assist sales teams with marketing material, presentations or other supporting documents

• Must have good technical, people and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to interface well with customers at any level.
• Must be able to work in the well in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to adapt to quickly as the OTC Team runs lean.

Education

• Associate/ 2-year degree is a plus.
