Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Fluid Solutions branch in Boise, ID. You will serve as a key customer contact, consult on solutions, quote, sell and fulfill orders for fluid solutions equipment and services based on customer needs.

You’ll establish rental and sales accounts, educate customers on proper equipment use, and collaborate with other branch staff to ensure satisfaction and accurate inventory management. This role emphasizes relationship building and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of rental business for specialty engineered products and services.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
