Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Monroe, LA team as Inside Sales/Relief Driver (Class B). The role involves delivering gases and hard goods, supporting inside store operations, and contacting prospective customers to grow business.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of CDL driving (Class A or B), must be 21 or older, and should be willing to obtain a Hazmat endorsement.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Hazmat endorsement required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to deliver gasses and hard goods to customer's place of business.
• Performs any non-route delivery(s) necessary to provide customers with product.
• Calls on prospective customers to solicit new business. Prepares order forms.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. Loads truck.
• Assists inside store, servicing customers at dock, front counter and over the phone.
