Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative / Delivery Driver in Hope, AR. The role combines customer service in the branch with sales support, inventory handling, and driving responsibilities as needed.

The position requires at least two years of sales experience and a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (Forklift certification preferred). You will handle quotes, orders, and invoicing while ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling of cylinders.

Qualifications

• At least two years of sales experience.
• At least one full year of Class B CDL driving experience within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Solicits sales from walk-in or telephone customers.
• Move cylinders as required by customer demand.
• Document sales, quotes, or other information.
• Enter sales data into the computer system and research information for customers using the same system.
• Receive payment for merchandise or services sold and account for it.
• Aid customers in assessing needs and locating merchandise.
• Obtain merchandise from stockroom when not on the floor.
• Serve as a backup driver when regular drivers are unavailable.
• Arrange stock on shelves or racks in the sales area and keep merchandise orderly.
• Mark or ticket merchandise and maintain current price documentation and product literature.
• Ensure stock inventories meet sales objectives.
• Process and/or return damaged goods.
• Prepare and route merchandise for shipment.
• Release daily invoices and complete all required hand-written and computer-generated documentation timely and accurately.
• Maintain CDL with Hazmat endorsement to serve as backup driver when needed.
