Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. is hiring an Inside Sales Associate in Indianapolis to drive sales, manage orders and liaise with customers. You will work closely with the outside sales team to meet monthly quotas and optimize margins.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in sales, strong product knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and P21 ERP. Excellent communication and multitasking skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of sales experience, inside sales preferred.
Ability to communicate product information and sales terms effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (P21).
Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma; additional sales/marketing education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Customer Interaction: Deliver outstanding service by managing orders, quotes, and returns.
Sales Execution: Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information and suggesting alternatives.
Operational Management: Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment and expedite shipments as needed.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the P21 system.
Team Collaboration: Work with outside sales and distribution to meet monthly quotas and gross margin targets.
