Job summary

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation is seeking an experienced Inside Sales specialist to expand our selling efforts in the fast paced oil and gas market in Hobbs, NM.

The candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, quickly learning our growing customer base and product portfolio while supporting the sales team with quotations, lead follow-ups and market development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software.
• Highly organized and disciplined work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Completing quotations.
• Following up on sales leads.
• Finding and developing new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Identifying and pursuing potential customers and markets.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining records of activities using Enterprise and CRM software.
• Assisting in marketing efforts.
• Purchasing and negotiating pricing on equipment/supplies from vendors.
• Supporting the sales team to procure equipment/supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position

We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales specialist to expand our selling efforts in the fast paced, growing, oil and gas market in our Hobbs, NM office. The candidate sought would also excel in a fast-paced environment and be able to quickly learn our rapidly growing customer base and product portfolio.

Job Duties

• Completing quotations
• Following up on sales leads
• Finding and developing new opportunities within existing accounts
• Identifying and pursuing potential customers and markets
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintaining records of activities using Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software
• Assisting in marketing efforts
• Purchasing and negotiating pricing on equipment/supplies from vendors
• Supporting the sales team to procure equipment/supplies
• Other duties as assigned
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Consistently works in accordance with applicable safety guidelines and requirements

Experience

• 2+ years' experience in inbound support / sales or purchasing (preferred)
• Experience in the Oil and Gas or Electrical/Automation industries is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience with Enterprise and Contact Relationship Management software
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and disciplined
• Desire to learn and build personal skill-set
• Technical background a plus

Compensation

Compensation based upon level of experience and capabilities. VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation provides a competitive benefit package including health insurance, 401K matching plan, life insurance, PTO and holiday pay.

Hours

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, hours may be adjusted to best fit location and customer needs.

Training

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation provides ongoing training and development plans.
