Summary:
The Inside Sales Engineer position is an integral part of the Sales organization to support sales activities at a Pfeiffer location in the respective region of the US. He or she will support inside selling activities with direct contact with customers, quote/pricing support, sales prospecting and lead management, new customer onboarding, and product configuration support. Must have effective communication skills and be comfortable working across various departments to support customer requirements. A technical product background and sales experience is ideal for this role. Must be located in Massachusetts or North Carolina.

Position Requirements:
Must be well organized, detail-focused, and able to multi-task. Must be able to get along well with all types of personalities to ensure the completion of tasks. Ability to work under tight and frequently changing deadlines in a dynamic business environment is necessary.
Education and/or Experience:
Completion of a 4-year degree in engineering or another technical field required. Prior sales experience and a knowledge of CRM, ERP, and sales processes a plus. A desire for growth and knowledge in a sales-related position is important for this role.
Language Skills:
The ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing is essential.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required.
Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a disciplined approach to complete all tasks. The ability to understand the department’s needs and requirements is essential.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required at the time of hire and periodically thereafter.
Tools and/or Equipment:
This position uses a computer extensively with demonstrated abilities in the use of Microsoft products as well as other common office-type equipment. Additionally, the use of SAP CRM and ERP systems will be required.
Work Environment:
This position may work in various environments including office, home, or customer site settings. Employees who choose to work from home are expected to comply with all company requirements for core work hours or in-person attendance at company meetings or events.
