Inside Sales Engineers for Final Control

Setting new standards for industrial process automation solutions in the metropolitan New York City tristate area, Control Associates, Inc. is a premier provider of process automation systems & software, valves, measurement solutions, pressure management, and asset reliability. We are looking to hire an Inside Sales Engineer for Final Control, and this role will bebasedout of our headquarters in Allendale, NJ.

Established in 1933, Control Associates along with its global process automation business partner, Emerson, specializes in supporting the process control equipment and service needs of the following industries: Life Sciences, Natural Gas Distribution & Transmission, HVAC, Power, Chemical, and Downstream Hydrocarbons.

Role: Our Sales Engineers work internally to assist in delivering business successes. Working directly with our Account Managers and Sales Coordinators, these Sales Engineers directly engage with our customers specific to the process controls products and services business.

Role:

  • Primary responsibility for the overall internal management of the customer account relationship for the sale of control valves, regulators, valves automation products, instrument & valves services, and process automation solutions to our customers.
  • Review customer’s specifications, technical requirements and commercial terms and conditions and complete the application engineering required to select a control valve, regulator, or valve automation product or service offering and generate a quotation.
  • Review customer purchase orders as required for compliance to our quotation and communicate and resolve any discrepancies between the purchase order and the quotation with the customer as required.
  • Be the primary inside contact for the account team, respond to customer requests for quotations and information, prepare quotations, offer trouble shooting guidance as required, offer solutions, and do quotation follow up.
  • Normal Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Preferable concentrations include Chemistry/Biology, Computer/Technology, and Mechanical.
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience within our served industries in an engineering, operations, or sales capacity,
  • Preferred: 2+ years’ experience directly supporting large clients within a sales organization/process.
  • Must have excellent communications, interpersonal, organization, and time management skills, this is a client facing role
  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite expertise with Advanced Excel and CRM experience
  • Please note that work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • This is a direct placement position; third party contracts are not available.
  • This is not a remote opportunity, if not local to Allendale, NJ, relocation to NYC tristate area will be required

Control Associates, Inc., offers competitive compensation that with a bonus potential.

Base Salary for this role is $70,000- $93,000
