Job summary

Buchheit Family of Companies is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to bid and sell materials for homes and pole barns, coordinate deliveries, and handle customer inquiries at the contract sales counter.

Role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and knowledge of building materials. Prior construction exposure is preferred; excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions or concerns in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Bid materials used for houses, pole barns, and other general construction needs.
• Assist Department Manager in coordination of delivery trucks.
• Assist with purchases and customer inquiries at the contract sales counter.
• Contact customers to follow-up on orders.
• Maintain working knowledge of products and services.
• Stock and recover merchandise on the sales floor.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• General use of computer to check prices and inventories.
• Create special orders as needed.
• May operate forklift or industrial truck to load/unload/move merchandise.
• Ensure safety and hazard awareness in-store.
