Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.
  • Provide excellent customer service, evaluate customer needs, and answer questions regarding parts, pricing, and services.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.
  • Complete internal documents supporting transactions (credits, invoices, work orders, returns, etc.).
  • Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
  • Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and additional information needed.
  • Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when requested parts are unavailable.
  • Process orders, review for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
  • Follow-up with customers as needed.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of related experience required

Preferred Requirements:

  • College coursework or degree.
  • Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to perform basic math and interpret graphs.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective oral communication; ability to write brief messages and keep simple records.
  • Routine problem-solving following clear procedures.
  • Ability to set personal goals and work with minimal guidance.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Primarily sedentary work; ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer.
  • Periodic travel, including overnight stays.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
