Ferrosource is a dynamic and growing leader in the metals industry, committed to innovation, authentic relationships, and global sourcing solutions. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Account Representative to join our team and propel sales growth within our steel service center operations.

Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Account Representative will be responsible for the "Rock to Dock" management of key accounts, ensuring seamless coordination of materials from sourcing to final delivery. This role is critical in managing customer relationships, overseeing supply chain logistics, and optimizing account performance.

The position offers the flexibility to work from our New York City office or remotely if not located in the NYC area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing the full "Rock to Dock" supply chain process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  • Monitor and analyze customer requirements to identify areas of continuous improvement and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Account Executives and internal teams to optimize inventory, logistics, and supply chain strategies for key accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the steel service center industry or metals industry is required.
  • Strong coordination, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ERP system experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
