Base pay range

$26.00/hr - $40.00/hr

While our main business location is in Auburn, WA, this is a remote position open to qualified candidates residing in Washington State.

This position handles aftermarket sales and new customer calls, dealing with a diverse group of external callers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Work requires substantial knowledge of items sold.

Essential Functions
  • Answer and return calls not assigned to other sales staff within 24 hours.
  • Know products and services and how they can benefit individual customers.
  • Identify customer problems or needs and recommend products accordingly.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes and delivery dates and follow up on quotes regularly.
  • Prepare Sales Orders and secure payment for COD customers in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Retain core customers by providing excellent customer service.
  • Consult with customers after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
  • Participate in continuous product training.
  • Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and calls.
Job Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Required Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in door and hardware industry (sales, project management, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Excellent customer service and social skills.
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical capacity (MS Office Suite, BlueBeam, Comsense).
  • Hollow Metal and Division 8 hardware knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication proficiency.
  • Quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Reading comprehension.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Constantly (67-100%) stationed at a desk working on a computer/keyboarding.
  • Seldom (1-10%) move or transport up to 15 pounds of office supplies or equipment.
  • This position requires normal vision and hearing abilities. The employee must be able to communicate verbally and visually with customers, vendors, and coworkers. The employee must be able to detect, discern, and convey information accurately and effectively.
