About The Role

Our team is growing at The RealReal, and we’re seeking experienced salespeople to help drive new consignment business. The Luxury Specialist (LS) - West drives new business by prospecting and closing leads within an assigned territory. If you’re customer-obsessed and self-motivated to “win” in a fully-remote, quota-driven sales environment, this could be the perfect fit!

Eligible work locations: AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, IL, NM, NV, OR, TX, UT, WA

What You Get To Do Every Day

  • Prospect new opportunities within assigned territory
  • Follow up and close leads generated by marketing team
  • Leverage strong consignor relationships to gain referrals for new consignors
  • Outreach daily via phone and text (50-100 per day)
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience
  • Review contracts with consignors
  • Set pricing expectations through deep knowledge of luxury

Minimum Requirements

  • You must reside in the states listed above. All other states should apply to the open East job.
  • Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven success in a quota-carrying, direct sales environment
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with prospective clients and close
  • Proficiency and comfort using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM
  • Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
  • Self-motivation and drive to achieve results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
  • A solutions-focused mentality with a growth mindset

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience selling luxury goods and/or services
  • Ability to discuss and advise customers on general fashion trends and developments in the luxury market

Compensation, Benefits, + Perks

  • Base pay PLUS uncapped commission
  • $1,500/month commission (at target) - top performers at $3,000+/month commission

The expected hourly rate is $26-$28, depending on location, skills, experience, and market factors. This role offers a comprehensive rewards package including potential bonuses and incentives.
