Qualifications

• 5+ years of previous assembly experience.
• Ability to read mechanical assembly and detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and disassembly of valves, gearboxes, and mechanical components.
• Conduct precision measurement and documentation.
• Perform hydrostatic and air testing of components.

Skills

Proficiency in shop mathematics

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Education

Job description

Overview

Assembly of valves, gearboxes, operators, trunks, and other mechanical components. Disassembly and troubleshooting of same. Perform fitting, scraping, grinding, and honing. Install and torque fasteners. Conduct precision measurement of parts. Complete both hardcopy and electronic documentation. Perform hydrostatic and air testing of components. Use hand tools, portable power tools, and hydraulic torqueing equipment.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years of relevant technical experience
• 5+ years of previous assembly experience
• Ability to read mechanical assembly and detailed drawings
• Availability for any shift

• Proficiency with precision measuring tools

Skills
