About Us:

We are seeking a motivated, bilingual (English & Spanish) Inside Counter Sales Representative to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy helping customers, and are looking to build a long-term career with growth opportunities, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in-person, over the phone, and via email with product selection and technical expertise.
  • Provide personalized recommendations tailored to project specifications and customer needs.
  • Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and handle transactions through our point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries with the yard and dispatch team for timely service.
  • Research and match specialty bricks or masonry materials; order samples as needed to assist customer projects.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships while seeking opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Input customer information and feedback into the CRM system to enhance service quality.
  • Make outbound sales calls to landscape contractors, small masons, and other local businesses to expand our reach.
  • Stay current on industry trends and product offerings to provide expert guidance.

Retail Store Management:

  • Gather customer feedback to assist the purchasing team in meeting client needs effectively.
  • Oversee and maintain the retail displays, ensuring accurate labeling and organized displays of all products.
  • Create and update promotional signage, including specials, holiday notices, and new product announcements.
  • Manage the sample library and literature, ensuring easy accessibility and proper organization.
  • Collaborate with the yard team to maintain clear and accurate product signage.
  • Exciting opportunities await as our company undergoes significant growth and a major renovation, enabling us to serve additional customers and new market segments.
  • Depending on your skills and interests, there will be opportunities to take on expanded responsibilities as you become more familiar with our products and customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bilingual (a plus) in English & Spanish.
  • Experience in retail or sales—construction or masonry industry experience preferred but not required (we provide training!).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time efficiently.
  • Ability to create and implement procedures effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; CRM knowledge is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset, and results-driven.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays is required.
