Role Description This full-time Inside Broker role is an on-site position based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Inside Broker will support the placement of specialty insurance risks by collaborating with senior brokers, analyzing submissions, and preparing quotes and proposals for retail broker clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing coverage terms, conditions, and pricing from carriers; negotiating with underwriting partners; and assisting in the structuring of programs across multiple lines of business. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, updating internal systems, and ensuring timely responses to broker and carrier inquiries. The Inside Broker will also contribute to business development initiatives, help manage renewals, and provide high-quality service and advocacy for clients.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of property, casualty, professional lines, transportation, personal lines, or workers’ compensation insurance, with the ability to understand risk profiles and coverage structures.
• Strong analytical and detail orientation, including skills in reviewing submissions, comparing carrier terms, and assessing pricing and program options.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities for collaborating with brokers, carriers, and retail clients, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools and insurance-related systems for documentation, data entry, and quote tracking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, managing multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and client focus.
• Prior experience in insurance brokerage, underwriting, or a related risk management role is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, client advocacy, and continuous learning in specialty insurance markets.
