Job summary

RRD in Missouri is seeking a shift-based Machine Operator to operate high-speed inserters, set up the equipment, and monitor performance to keep production on schedule.

You will perform routine adjustments, ensure quality, and cooperate with maintenance and QA teams. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand 6–7 hours, and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to job requirements.
• Adjustments performed are typically routine and readily apparent.
• Must have good eye-hand coordination.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to communicate in English - read, write, understand.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, 4-6 hours.
• Walking/standing, 6-7 hours.
• Bending/stooping, 2-3 hours.

B SHIFT: 6AM-6PM, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

• Operate high speed machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelops
• Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently
• Oversee and make adjustments as necessary

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment
• Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent
• Must have good eye-hand coordination
• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Ability to communicate in English -read, write, understand
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, 4-6 hours
• Walking/standing, 6-7 hours

Thepay range for this role at the noted location is $17.68 to $25.75 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
