Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Inserting Operator for our Ft. Worth, TX location. This role handles automatic or semiautomatic inserting equipment in a continuous production setting, supporting various printing and mailing processes.

Responsibilities include operating inserters, maintaining quality, coordinating with the production team, and ensuring safety and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• Check paper type, size, color, and quantity.
• Inspect forms for quality, registration, and ink alignment.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Operate machinery to produce customized jobs.
• Clean and maintain equipment and update maintenance logs.
• Report equipment problems to Supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Support Production Team to meet sales and customer objectives.

Your Opportunity:

Venture Solutions is seeking an Inserting Operator to work in our Ft. Worth, TX location. The position is responsible for automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Equipment may be related to process such as: cutting, binding, finishing, mailing, and offline inkjet on product.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform all equipment functions as noted on the work order/job ticket.
• Prepare supplies to operate equipment. Maintain proper workflow and distribution throughout run for both the form impression and numbering head fountains, where required.
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality checks, registrations, looking at inking, numbering sequence, clear impression.
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Operate machinery to produce customized jobs.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures and update maintenance logs.
• Kern, Bell and Howell MSE blue crest inserters.
• Inform Supervisor of equipment problems.
• Wear appropriate safety protection as required.
• Participate as a key player in the Production Team by supporting operations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, Client Care Team and Production Team informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that both sales and customer objectives are met.
• Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manual.

Your Shift:

• Monday - Friday with scheduled mandatory overtime.
• 2:00pm to 10:00pm.

You Must Have:

• Production Equipment Operation.
• Print and mail Shop experience.
• Ability to perform with minimum Supervision.
