Responsibilities and qualifications:

• Provides technical expertise within the packaging functional team.
• Identifies and assesses complex technical problems and provides solutions and recommendations.
• Manages divisional packaging priorities and resources.
• Holds a technical leadership role on the packaging functional team by developing and inspiring technical competency.
• Provides clear technical direction and sets priorities for package engineering direct reports (range of 0-5 reports).
• Serves as a technical mentor to junior engineers.
• Demonstrates ability to execute projects on time and on budget without guidance from manager.
• Proactively anticipates issues and determines contingency plans.
• Sets up realistic timelines and testing plans.
