Job summary

Mercy Health's St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for inpatient wound care on a PRN basis.

The role emphasizes assessing patient status, implementing wound care interventions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to drive positive outcomes in an acute care setting. Candidates must hold an active RN license, BLS, and wound care certification within 3 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Wound care certification required within 3 years of hire.
• Recent RN experience in acute and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop care plans with the team.
• Administer treatments including IV medications as prescribed.
• Accurately assess wounds, document progress and update plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and ensure charting accuracy.
