CVETS in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join as a Veterinary Hospitalist dedicated exclusively to inpatient care. The role focuses on medical management, coordination with specialists, and guiding hospitalized patients toward safe discharge.

The ideal candidate will have a DVM/VMD degree, SC licensure eligibility, strong inpatient skills, and a collaborative mindset. A signing bonus is offered along with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Licensed DVM/VMD or eligible for licensure in South Carolina.
• Demonstrated excellence in inpatient medical management.
• Ability to coordinate care with internal medicine, surgery and ER specialists.
• Strong communication with clients and hospital staff.

Responsabilités

• Managing medical and postoperative inpatients.
• Developing and adjusting treatment plans based on progress.
• Reviewing diagnostics and monitoring response to therapy.
• Coordinating care with specialists and emergency doctors.
