Cincinnati Children's seeks an experienced APP to support inpatient surgical and consult services in Urology with occasional gynecology coverage. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts and active participation in multidisciplinary rounds, procedures, and care planning.

New graduates may be considered with inpatient surgical experience; NP/PA dual post for NP/PA is available. The position emphasizes competencies in focused evaluation, leadership, and patient-family communication.

Qualifications

• Certification-FNP, Acute Care, Primary Care, etc. will be considered
• Specialty experience preferred (ED, Surgical) and inpatient surgical experience preferred
• Masters degree in related field; NP/PA credential required; multi-state licensure may be required

Responsabilités

• Perform history and/or physical exams in area of expertise and diagnose illnesses; develop and monitor treatment plans.
• Order and monitor interventions including labs, imaging, and therapies; provide clinical consultation and interdisciplinary care.
• Maintain professional practice standards, participate in quality improvement, and contribute to teaching and mentorship of staff.
• Maintain and update documentation of patient plans, goals, and outcomes; communicate with care team for integrated delivery of pediatric care, safety and quality.
