Job summary

AdventHealth Medical Group Urology in Orlando seeks a Full Time Inpatient APRN or PA-C to join our urology team. You will work under physician supervision, perform physical exams, order tests, and coordinate care for acute and chronic urologic conditions.

The role requires a Master's in nursing or PA-C, Florida licensure, NCCPA/ANCC certification, and BLS/ACLS with a current DEA license. Expect a structured schedule and collaborative environment within AdventHealth Orlando.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) studies.
• 1-2 years' experience in Urology, Internal Medicine or Hospitalist.
• Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license.
• Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or equivalent.
• BLS & ACLS.
• Current, valid DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations of patients; evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic urologic conditions within clinic and hospital settings.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory and imaging.
• Monitors the patient's course of treatment and makes referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
• Collaborates with physician and staff to provide consistent patient care.
• Maintains a caring, professional attitude and pursues ongoing personal and professional growth.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
