Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join the Urology inpatient team in Worcester, MA. This per diem/weekend role involves adult and geriatric inpatient care, daily rounds, and comprehensive charting.

The candidate must hold a Master's degree, MA licensure with national certification (NCCPA/ANCC/AANP), and MA CS/DEA licenses. Epic EMR is used for documentation and care coordination. Contact Carmen Sanderson for inquiries.

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Eligible for or current Massachusetts licensure with national certification (NCCPA, ANCC, AANP, as applicable).
Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and DEA license required.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients, including daily rounds, evaluations and progress notes.
Perform comprehensive histories and physicals; formulate diagnoses and treatment plans; interpret labs and imaging; coordinate consultations; and perform bedside/clinical procedures per delineation of privileges.
Document progress notes and maintain accurate patient records; utilize Epic EMR for charting and orders.
Coordinate consultations and ensure timely patient care through the clinical workflow.
