Inpatient Transporter - West Side Locations (Deer Valley or John C. Lincoln)

Full-Time Position

Current Openings:

John C. Lincoln 8pm - 6:30am

Schedule: 6 weekend days/nights every 6 weeks

Holidays: 1 major summer, 1 major winter, 2 minor holidays

Responsibilities

Job Summary
Transport patients and materials across hospital areas, maintaining transport times within guidelines. Ensure equipment and supplies are maintained, comply with safety and patient care protocols, and meet customer service and quality standards in communication.

• Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics. Operate mobile devices and may include dispatch duties.
• Accurately document transports and communicate effectively with patients and care team. Verify patient identity and inform them of their destination. Follow HonorHealth Standards of Conduct and ICARE values.
• Follow PPE guidelines and handle patients appropriately.
• Maintain and sanitize transport equipment, reporting malfunctions immediately.
• Use Electronic Medical Records systems consistently for patient transport documentation.
