Job summary

Lifeways Inc. is hiring an Inpatient Therapist with LMSW or LCPC licensure. The role offers hourly pay and requires strong clinical skills to assess, plan, and provide crisis intervention, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include supervising interns, maintaining EMR documentation, and providing comprehensive client care. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, behavioral health, or closely related field.
• LMSW or LPC Idaho Licensure required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Must communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Current driver's license.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans.
• Provide supervision, consultation, education and training for other program staff, including graduate level interns.
• Complete paperwork within agency timelines and document into the EMR.
• Provide discharge planning and make referrals.
• Attend multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide progress updates.
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to expand clinical competency and client care.

Job description

Inpatient Therapist with LMSW = $36.05/hr.

Inpatient Therapist with LCPC = $39.00/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct Biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, make referrals, provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans.
• Provide supervision, consultation, education and training for other program staff, including graduate level interns.
• May provide clinical review and/or supervision of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs.
• Complete paperwork within agency expected timelines.
• Document into agency’s electronic medical record.
• Provide individualized case management to clients.
• Provide discharge planning for all patients and make appropriate referrals.
• Review treatment plans to ensure the delivery of appropriate interventions.
• Attend multidisciplinary Treatment team meetings, provide updates on patients and their progress toward treatment goals.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary team structure to expand clinical competency, staff cases, and ensure thorough client care.
• May act as liaison and provide consultation, education and information to community agencies that routinely encounter individuals with mental or emotional disturbances

Required:

• Master’s degree in social work, behavioral health, or closely related field
• LMSW or LPC Idaho State Licensure OR must be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not obtained position will be forfeited
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
• Current driver's license
• Must pass a criminal background check.
