Mesilla Valley Hospital in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking an Inpatient Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients with psychiatric and substance use disorders, helping them achieve emotional well-being.

The role includes individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention, and information and referrals as needed, with a multidisciplinary team. Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, with supervision available.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field.
• Licensed NM licenses: LPC, LMSW, LAT, LMHC, LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• Minimum of one year of clinical and chemical dependency counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Inpatient Therapist provides therapeutic functions to meet patients' biopsychosocial needs and emotional health.
• Provides consultation, teaching, individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention, information and referrals as needed.

Education

Position Summary

Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field and possess one of the following New Mexico licenses: licensed professional mental health counselor (LPC); licensed master's social worker (LMSW); licensed art therapist (LAT); or licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), licensed clinical social work (LCSW); licensed professional clinical mental health counselor (LPCC); or licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT)
