Job summary

Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is seeking a compassionate Recreational Activities Coordinator to plan and lead activities for inpatients, including weekends and PRN coverage.

Under the Director of Clinical Services, you will engage patients with therapeutic activities, monitor safety, and collaborate with the care team to support treatment goals. Requires high school diploma, Missouri certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Missouri state certifications as required.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead great activities (days, evenings, and holidays) that support patient well-being.
• Connect with patients 1-on-1 and in groups, keeping a close eye on their safety and health.
• Complete initial patient assessments within 72 hours of admission and keep accurate progress notes.
• Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team, families, and coordinators to support patient treatment.
• Order and take care of activities supplies and equipment.
