Job summary

Zepf Center in Toledo, Ohio, seeks an SUD Residential Therapist to join our inpatient multidisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, and provide individual and group therapy to support recovery. The role includes coordinating services, crisis intervention, and documenting progress in a confidential setting.

Requirements include LICDC or LPC/LSW licensure and CPR/First Aid training; a Master’s degree with Ohio licensure is preferred. This position involves four 10-hour shifts on site.

Qualifications

• Active LICDC or LPC/LSW license.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and be insured under agency policy.
• CPR, First Aid and CPI Trained.
• Master’s degree preferred with Ohio LPC/LSW licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and ASAM LOC evaluations.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized plans.
• Provide individual therapy using CBT/MI with trauma-informed approach.
• Lead group therapy sessions focusing on relapse prevention and coping skills.
• Assist clients in accessing medical care, housing, and social support.
• Coordinate referrals for continued care and community resources.
• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during distress.
• Educate clients and families about addiction, recovery and mental health.
• Work with families to support treatment and recovery.
• Maintain confidential progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Document client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, psychiatrists, social workers and peers.
