Responsibilities

• Deliver Direct Patient Care in accordance with licensure acts, Kaiser Permanente HealthPlan policies.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of services per state/federal requirements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and case management conferences as requested by management.
• Refer patients to appropriate medical providers when care is outside of scope of practice.
• Instruct patient education classes or groups as requested by management.
• Conduct department in-services and journal clubs as requested by management.
• Serve as a clinical instructor as requested by management.
• Provide consultation to staff and mentor colleagues.

Education

Speech-language pathology degree (Bachelor/Master/Doctoral) with certification in Speech-Language Pathology or foreign trained equivalent
