Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the Adult Inpatient Therapies Department. This part-time role is 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) with a day shift schedule.

You will develop, coordinate and maintain SLP services, assist in direct patient care, and collaborate with physicians, families and the care team to ensure standards align with ASHA guidelines. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s or D.O.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or D.O. in Speech Language Pathology.
• Alaska SLP License required at hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association certification at hire.

Responsabilités

• Develops, coordinates and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family.
• Assists in direct patient care.
• Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with ASHA standards.
