Qualifications

• Must hold Arkansas Teaching License with Special Education certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal SPED laws and programs.
• Ability to work within a team and follow directions from Education leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents.
• Help students maintain or improve academic performance and support post-discharge transitions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to school and hospital policies.
• Coordinate with home school counselors and district personnel during hospitalization and after discharge.
